Hi everyone!

Hey, my name is Linda and I've been a potter fan for eight years! I'm known as Satrlight_Dancer on the Twi Lexicon, and my sister, MessrMoony2 is on this forum as well.
My whole life is dance, but I also enjoy reading, writing, art, knitting, crocheting, sewing, dancing in the rain, and playing music.
I'm 12 years old and I'm proud to say I've been a pot(ter)head since I was four!

I used to be a dancer before I got bad back injury. I'm thinking about going back into it this year because my injury is finally almost completely healed up. I specialized in Pointe, Jazz, Tap, and Musical Theatre. I'm thinking about doing either Flamingo or Contemporary this time around though.

i do ballet, tap, jazz/hip-hop, musical theatre, and hopefully i'll be doing pointe next year.

All I have to say is that pointe is KILLER. My first few times on pointe, I went home crying because my toes hurt so much. By the time I was in it for a few months, it was fine. I loved doing pointe! I still practice pointe on occasion to show off It makes me seem graceful and swan-like. My boyfriend calls me Twinkle-Toes

I love dancing too! I dance Ballet and Jazz. but Break crump is best:p.

ive never done break crump. what's it like?

its a great way to let go of your emotions when you do break crump:)
especially when you're angry and stressed out, its really relaxing to free dance break crump

it isn't taught at my dance studio though.

my parents say they're still not sure if i can take toe. they've heard it can cuase knee problems, so they might not let me take it.

it is really fun and energizing.
now, this makes me miss dancing.

oh really? that's awful, I never heard that toe could harm your knees. I never got to toe because that was the time they said I needed to focus on my studies. and now they don't approve on me taking dance classes again . They said it was a waste of money . I got hurt BIG TIME. They don't even know I dance in school because I know they would just tell me how it wastes my time and effort, and they would keep telling me on how it's not a sport *ouch!*. dancing is a sport!

but don't lose heart. Dance IS a sport, it IS important, and anyone who says differently is sadly misinformed!

i had a science final today...........scary. my microscope wouldn't focuse so i had to improvise on the slide drawings. i think i did pretty well on the other parts, though.

my math teacher has an hp poster ive wanted all year, and today she was taking everything down from the classroom walls and i asked if i could have it but one of my friends wanted it too........... my teacher told us to guess a number, and my friend got it.......... *sigh* oh well.

sorry about double posting, but i have good news!

my dance teacher says i have the skill to take toe, but my body won't be ready for it for atleast 2 years. oh well, i got everything else i wanted!
